Damara III lies just off the beach end of the high street in Calpe. Calpe offers the perfect combination of romantic village life together with sunshine and beaches.
Damara III is an apartment block that offers simple, clean and comfortable accommodation in a great location close to the beach. The courtyard has a garden, a Spanish restaurant, a shop, two bars and a pub. Opposite is a small shopping centre that has amongst others things an Internet cafe, pharmacy, taxi rank a small supermarket and a bookshop.
The apartments are very spacious, clean and comfortable and consist of the following:-
• 1 double bedroom
• 1 twin bedroom
• bathroom with shower, bath, bidet and toilet
• lounge/dining room
The lounge has a long seat which can be used as a bed. So the legal maximum occupation is five. However, children in cots can be accommodated additionally; a cot can be borrowed from the manager.
The kitchen has a fridge and oven and plenty of cutlery, utensils and crockery. There is a project to renovate the kitchens and the last phase will take place in the autumn of 2013.
Most timeshares are managed and owned by the timeshare developer. The ‘owners’ of an apartment do not own the apartment: they just lease a unit of time. Damara III is different in that a co-owner co-owns their apartment: a proportion equal to the unit of time they have bought.
Damara III is a Timeshare co-ownership system that is run by a committee of co-owner volunteers. The committee controls the Damara III budget, decides the annual maintenance fees, deals with issues and is responsible for the Damara III manager.
